The alahe'e are in bloom

A typical hazy, voggy Kona morning. The usual stories in the paper about how the politicians in Hilo are shafting Kona to benefit their campaign donors. Nothing new there. But I do have some good news: the recent rains have caused the alahe'e to bloom below Kealakehe school. Soon the air up and down Palani Road will be sweetly perfumed.

I put you up on MWBS.. If you dump your trash at the transfere station there at Keauhou, you have likely met my husband John, hes the guard four days a week there. he can be a stickler on the rules, but hes a pretty nice guy. Love your pic with the pahoehoe and you will do just fine with your blog. I have learned a lot abour computers and websites by having a blog to play with and now am a bit more serious about my writing. If you get to Hilo came by Azure Seas Jewelry on Waianuenue near bayfront I would love to meet you.
